Writing Club - Update
Because of snow days, holidays, illness, and other distractions, our writing club has had a hard time finding a time to meet. Well, Mrs. Molitor has it covered! Writing Club is going to continue starting in March, after school. Please read a note from Mrs. Molitor for the specifics and if interested, please click on, print off, and fill out this permission slip.
Dear Middle School Writing Club Parents/Guardians:
I’ve had the pleasure of working with your child during study hall on Mondays in December. We’ve missed quite a few Mondays this quarter and I was hoping to offer more opportunities to meet. However, we’ll be out of school next Monday and I’ll be at a conference the following week.
So, to support your budding writer, I’d like to offer an after-school writing club to take the place of our Monday club. Starting in March, we’d meet Tuesdays after school until 3:35 pm, when the elementary dismisses. I’d meet students in the middle school and we’d head over to my classroom in the elementary school.
Writing Club would meet on the following 7 dates:
March 3rd, 10th, 24th, 31st April 7th, 14th, 21st
If your child is interested in participating and would have transportation home, please fill out and return the permission slip below. Busing home from the elementary MAY be an option, depending on the number of seats available. Please indicate below if you’d like your child to be considered.
Please feel free to email me with any questions!
Warmly,
Jen Molitor

Needs:
- I would love to develop a Middle School PTO if anyone is interested in helping me get that started. Please contact me.
- Do you have old technology you would like to get rid of? We have students that would like to take it apart! Seriously, if you have old tech that students can tear apart and explore, we are in the market. Please send it in and have the students take it to Mrs. Ford's room.
- We also are trying to collect $5-$10 gift cards for student incentives. Please send these to Jill Wilkinson in the middle school main office.
- I am looking for some ideas for the Staff Member of the Month initiative.
- We need consumables like markers, glitter, glue, poster board, paper for our Cricut Machines, vinyl for the Cricut Machines, fabric for sewing, thread, buttons, etc. I could go on and on. Mrs. Ford would probably take anything you offered.
Thank you all for being so supportive. We appreciate your desire to be a part of the middle school experience. We need you!
