Friendship Grams will be available for purchase onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 8th-17th and will be delivered to students on March 1st. Students can purchase the grams 'In Person' and write a special message to their friends. For $1, their friend will receive a friendship bracelet or for $2, they will receive a pop fidget keychain they can attach to their backpack!

3rd-5th Grade Math

On the Log you have seen "Warm up" listed on homeschool days, this is a reminder to have your student start off with a few warm up problems before you begin your daily lesson. It's a great way to review concepts and keep them fresh. In an effort to help you with choosing problems, your student will be receiving a packet of warm up problems along with an answer key this week. We would suggest having your student complete 3-5 of these problems as a warm up on each homeschool day. Each page in the packet offers a variety of standards based problems and will serve as an excellent review as well as a way to prepare for the upcoming state testing in May. As your student completes pages, please turn them into your TOR as samples. If you have any questions, please connect with Mrs. Yonge or Mrs. Matti.

Free AT HOME COVID-19 Testing Kits for Students Available for a Limited Time!

The state has donated one COVID-19 test kit per student to be used upon returning to school from winter break. The tests come two per box with instructions. The tests are meant to be spread out over 3 to five days. Sometimes viral load is not enough the first time you take the test, so waiting a few days and taking it again you may get different relsults. The instructions detail how to give and report the test. These are not mandatory.

Remember if your student has any symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19, then please stay home and wear a mask when others are present. Follow quarantine or isolation instructions from ShastaReady.org.

Thank you! We want to continue to have students in onsite classes safely.

Redding Performing Arts Center

We've had a wonderful semester at Redding Performing Arts Center with your students! Our high school Performance Theatre students performed Almost, Maine, our Children’s Theatre students performed How I Became a Pirate, and our Youth Theatre Class presented Jingle Jury last week. Private lesson students and our music ensembles have performed in monthly recitals and Christmas concerts. It's been an exciting time at RPAC!

Coming up next semester, we're presenting The Rainbow Fish with the Children’s Theatre, Dr. Doolittle with our Youth Theatre students, and Hello, Dolly with our High School Performance Theatre class. Our private lessons, music, and dance programs continue to grow, and we'd love to have your students jump in on the Spring Semester fun. We will also be adding some new classes including visual art. Please find our Spring 2022 brochure attached, as well as a flyer with our upcoming production announcements. Feel free to pass along this brochure to families who might be interested in joining us!

We look forward to our continued partnership with you, your families, and your students!

Best,

Brandon Baumann and Brenna Yeary
