NOTES FROM PASTOR TEG
Hopefully Sunday's Sermon will be as interesting as many of you thought the May 23rd message was when a reporter from The Jerusalem Times interviewed "Pastor Peter" about what was happening on Pentecost Sunday. HINT: Be ready for Eleven things from Noah's Ark experience and the good thing the Apostles had done and the two 'mistakes' they made when their boat was being flooded by a Sea of Galilee Storm.
I will be on vacation beginning June 13th. The services on June 20th and 27th will be lead by Pastor Andy Schroeder and Pastor Albert Oren. If a pastoral emergency arises while I am gone please contact your elder or the church office.

CHOIR RESUMES!
The CDC has released updated guidelines regarding the safety of singing in a chorus. For fully-vaccinated, masked individuals it is likely to be safe now. With this new information, I feel confident that we can return to musical activities such as choir and handbells, as long as we remain masked during rehearsals and preferably if everyone has been vaccinated. Singing with a mask is not particularly comfortable but it is possible and we'll start slow to get back into the habit. The main thing I need to know is who is interested in participating, so I can find music appropriate to the size of the ensemble. For choir rehearsals, we may plan to rehearse outside under the breezeway for added safety, depending on the numbers and comfort level of those involved.
If you have been in choir or handbells in the past, or are interested in being involved in either one now, please contact me at annecw515@gmail.com so I can plan accordingly and so that I will have your contact information for future updates. I am so excited about making music with you again!
In peace,
Anne Weaver

The NATIONAL Convention Is being held June 24-27 in Lexington and they will vote for the next grants for the next two years. They will pick from 34 grants submitted.
