Schedules on Skyward

We are working on cleaning up student schedules currently and finalizing our staffing. Please understand, at this time, they are not able to view until this has taken place. We plan to open up Skyward to view schedules as close to August 24th as possible. Please look at the information below on how to access your schedule.

Open House August 29th

We would like to welcome you to an open house on August 29, 2022 from 4-6pm. The purpose of this time will be for students to find their classes, familiarize themselves with the buildings, and administration will be available to answer any questions. This is an open house format (not a meet and greet), so please feel free to drop by anytime between 4-6 p.m. that works for you and your family.

Fall Sports Sign Ups (7th & 8th grade)

7th and 8th graders can now sign up for fall sports (Girls Soccer or Boys/Girls Cross Country). The 2022-2023 PSMS Registration Form is found here.

6th grade students, in addition to wrestling in the winter, will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs. These typically begin midway through the first quarter so they've had a chance to settle into the school year.

**All students participating in athletics need a current sports physical every 2 years.

The YMCA will also offer a variety of sports and activities. You can find out that information on their website linked here.

School Supply List

While out school supply shopping, please reference the list below. We do not have student lockers at Port Susan Middle School, so keep that in mind as you are filling up those backpacks. Also, make note that teachers may request additional items for their specific class. In our office, we will have supplies available for students as needed, so don't hesitate to reach out.

Message from Food Service

Federal funding for no-cost breakfast and lunches for all students during the COVID-19 pandemic has ended. Some districts have been able to qualify for no-cost meals to continue due to poverty rates in the community. SCSD does not qualify to participate under the new federal Community Eligibility Provision. This means the district will return to paid breakfast and lunch meals for students for the 2022-23 school year.

We encourage parents/guardians to apply for free or reduced meals to determine National School Breakfast/Lunch Program eligibility. Completing a meal application takes less than 10 minutes, and parents only need to complete one application per household. Information about free or reduced meals is available on our district website HERE.
