Class Dues


Pay your entire $45.00 in class dues by Tuesday, October 1st, to be entered into a drawing for your choice of one of the following:

** One winner will be chosen from each class.

** The entire $45 fee must be paid in full to be entered in the drawing. Those who have paid partial payments must pay the remaining balance to be entered. If you have already paid your $45 in dues, you will be automatically entered in the drawing.

** Class dues cover many different school activities during your students’ 4 years of high school, such as homecoming activities, senior picnic, colored senior yearbook photos, flowers for graduation, etc.

(Dues must be paid for student to go on senior trip.)

Senior Info./ Float Meetings

Senior float meetings are on Sundays, 5-7pm at Brady Devereaux's house. Attending these meetings along with riding/walking in the parade will earn you the chance to be put in a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Candy donations are also needed. You can drop candy off in the HS office.

All seniors please check your email for an important message.

Junior Float Meetings/Homecoming Dance

Junior Class Float Meetings will be from 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM on the following dates at Mrs. Kenny's house (17110 Cadet Lane, Hemlock)

Sunday Oct. 6th (Subject to change depending on what we get done during the above dates.)

Junior Parents - We are in need of cookies/desserts (Harry Potter themed if possible), water, and punch for the Homecoming Dance. They can be dropped off in the office on Thursday, October 10th or Friday, October 11th.

Float Decorating Schedule:

Freshmen Float Meetings

Everyone is encouraged to help with the Freshmen float. We will be working on the float at 12411 Frost Rd.

2019 Homecoming Parade Route

We have been fortunate enough to receive permission to have our parade go down M-46, so we have updated our route to reflect the change. We plan on this being the route for many years to come.

We need Homecoming Parade Participants

Are you interested in being in our homecoming parade or know someone who is? Companies, businesses, tractors, etc. are welcome. Please have them contact Student Council Adviser, Mrs. Allison Strachota - strachota@hemlockps.com. There is NO fee to be in our parade. The theme this year is "Harry Potter" but you do not have to decorate with the theme to participate in the parade.

9/11/19 - JV Volleyball @ St. Louis - W (25-18, 25-13) it was a tight match at the beginning,then the Lady Huskies started to pull away behind the tough serving of Ryley Chamberlin, Brooke Hogenson & Ava Khalifa with 5,4 & 3 aces respectively. Next up for the Lady Huskies is this weekend tournament in Pinnconning.

9/11/19 - V Volleyball @ W (25-17, 25-23, 25-20) Sydney Peake had 11 Kills, 2 Aces, 2 Blocks. Courtney Boehler had 9 Kills, 3 Blocks. Kylee Ryder had 5 Kills. Brittney Young had 5 Kills, 3 Aces. Cassidy Peake had 10 Digs. Kendra Salo had 30 Assists.

9/10/19 - V CC @ Nouvel - The Huskies ran in their first jamboree of the season. Despite the grueling temperatures the Huskies placed well among their TVC competitors.

9/12/19 - JV Football vs. Bullock Creek - W (12-6) Anthony Zechmiester scored the 1st TD of the game by catching a pass from Max Dinninger. Late in the game Bryce Murphy caught a long pass that put the team on the 2 yard line with the scores tied 6-6. Max Dinninger scored the game winning TD by running it in from 2 yards out with 35 seconds left in the game.

9/12/19 - V Tennis @ Bullock Creek - W (5-3) Congratulations to Joe Renas and Owen Nurnberg for beating their opponents 6-1 / 6-0. Ben Lockwood and Carl Spannagel won by a score of 6-4 and 6-1. Max Hauffe beat his opponent 6-1 / 6-2. Cory Dobrowolsky won his match 6-4 and 6-1. And Alexis Guerrero beat her opponent 6-1 and 6-1. Great Job Huskies.

9/13/19 - V Soccer @ Ovid-Elsie - W (1-0) Nolan Finkbeiner scored the winning goal on a penalty kick, assist from Gabe Tallon. Andrew Knoll and the defense posted their 6th shutout allowing only 5 shots on goal for the game. Andrew Knoll made all 5 saves.

9/14/19 - JV Soccer vs. Swan Valley - T (2-2) Andrew Prebay scored both goals.

9/14/19 - JV Volleyball @ Pinconning Invite - The Lady Huskies finish pool play with a 5-3 record playing Au Gres 25-8 & 25-8, Standish 25-22 & 21-25, Pinconning 25-14 & 25-12 and Bullock Creek 16-25 & 16-25. The Huskies headed into the Silver Bracket as the top seed against Gaylord but lost a tough match 17-25 & 26-28. The Huskies were led by Brooke Hogenson, Ryley Chamberlin with 13 aces apiece and Ava Khalifa with 9 aces.

9/16/19 - V Soccer vs. Nouvel - W (4-1) Ethan Vietti led the offensive attack with 2 goals and 2 assists. Nick LaFrance and Caden Giacoletti each had a goal while Mitch Hingston and Anthony Hagarty both contributed an assist on the night. Andrew Knoll finished the game with 3 saves.

9/13/19 - V Cross Country @ MSU - Despite the hot, humid conditions for the spartan invite these athletes gave it their all and endured the entire race. Congratulations to Chloe Watson , Reagan Keyser, Heidi Huizar, Alex Grzenia, Lexi Seidel, Hailey Scherzer, Tyler Jones, Evan Robishaw, Carson Penny, Xander Nichols,Dennis Schaffer, Colin Chevalier, and Nathan Scherzer.
