Open House
The school will hold an Open House on Tuesday, August 17th from 1pm-4pm. This is a great chance to meet with your friends and meet all your new teachers! We are looking forward to meeting our new students from Diamond Fork! This is gonna be a GREAT year!
Intervention Time Replaces Pack Time!
Students will be provided targeted intervention and remediation as needed during intervention time.
Students who have meet the class requirements can:
- complete homework.
- silent read.
- or be a peer tutor as directed by teacher.
- do an enrichment activity provided by teacher.
All students are expected to be working on something during Intervention time
Each department will plan at least 25 minutes of intervention/remediation time during class each week.
Teachers will determine the essential learning standards/outcomes that all students should master for the class each term.
Each department is assigned a priority day on Tuesday through Friday for intervention/remediation time.
Schedule
Monday- No Intervention time
Tuesday- Math and Fine Arts
Wednesday- English and CTE
Thursday- Science and PE/Health
Friday- Social Studies and Spanish
Teachers will be available to work with students before and after school by appointment.

"80s Glowback"
Prepare to travel back in time to big hair and loud colors while grooving to some of the best music ever created! Thursday, August 26 will be 80s day! Get that hairspray ready. Come to school in your best 80s look: Madonna? Beastie Boys? Run DMC? Guns N Roses? Poison? Cindy Lauper? U2? Flock of Seagulls? Oh, so many inspirations for a great throwback look.
That night the fun continues. Thursday, August 26, 6-8 pm is our first dance! Our "80s Glowback" party! Keep those bangs high and add glow sticks! There'll be a room for dancing, a room for games and hanging out, and refreshments to purchase. Entrance is $3 and refreshments $1.
