Celebrating Catholic Schools

February is the shortest month, but always full of excitement and activities!

Catholic Schools week was the first week of February. We are so blessed to celebrate us for a whole week. We also celebrated our 100th day of school. This year more than every we are so thankful to be here, so we had to celebrate both of these events in special ways! (see below).

We are starting a Read-a-Thon on Monday, and would love your support. More details below!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Student of the Month

Showing her Cardinal Pride, Kindergartener Finlay Landry was chosen as this month's student of the month! Finley shows responsibility every day by following classroom directions, she shows respect by being a great friend, and is safe by being cautious and aware of her surroundings. We are so proud of you Finley!

Help our fundraiser

St. Matthew students will be Reading during the month of March to raise money for some school improvements. Our current Interactive White Board Technology is outdated and not working well. We are hoping, with this fundraiser, to replace 2 of the 10 board we need replaced. Our goal is $8,000.

Each of you is asked to help support your readers by making a pledge.

If you do not have a reader at home that is part of our school, you can support us through our school page. https://www.read-a-thon.com/school/St.-Matthew-School_39299

Thank you for your support.

Valentine's Day

Spending Time with Jesus

Big picture
Every month our students spend time in quiet with Jesus in adoration in the chapel. This month, the students in K-8 participated as a whole community in the church with an exposition, adoration time, and reposition. Thank you Deacon Mark for leading this sacred experience.
