Announcements
- Thank you to everyone for your help in hosting Professional Learning at KCS on Friday. It was great to have many teachers in the region at our school for the FIRST time. They left happy and full! A special thank you to Sal, Beth, Bill, Stephen, Jim, Charlie, Meghan and Mary for all of your help putting it together.
- Our first staff meeting is next Tuesday, September 10. CrisisGo training is on the draft agenda, ALL STAFF will need to attend if this becomes final. I will keep you updated this week.
- There are a lot of documents included in this "Peek," please make sure you read carefully and complete anything needed.
Teacher reminders:
- Parents and Students depend on your for Social Media posts- please send to Michelle as often as possible!
- SafeSchool courses including Medication Administration and Life-Threatening Allergies should be completed as soon as possible.
- Refer to the list from our Opening Day agenda- make sure everything has been done!
Continuous Learning for EVERYONE
"Creating a Welcoming Classroom for Students with Special Needs"
Need help with Aimsweb or iReady?
A message from Lisa: Requests for assistance should be directed to Amanda using this form. At the moment, it is written to be specific to PowerSchool. However, Amanda will be modifying it this week to make it more generic. Amanda will not respond to requests for assistance unless teachers and other staff members use this form. This protocol helps Amanda to set priorities for her work. The form is also a useful source of additional information about the applications we use.

Monthly Challenge
Most of you enjoyed our challenges last year, so I will try my best to keep them going!
September Challenge: Use the last few minutes of class to take a picture of your students as a group (or some of them if your Unified Arts). Print the picture and post it on your classroom. Post the classroom display on Google classroom to be entered in the monthly drawing!
