DAVIS HILL COMMUNITY UPDATE
November 18, 2019
Dear Davis Hill Community,
I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend! It sure seems as if the cold air is here to stay. It is a fairly quiet on the calendar as we look ahead until Thanksgiving break (Which begins on the 27th). Picture Retake Day will be this Thursday and please keep an eye out this week for information on this year's Spell-A-Thon Fundraiser. Also, the PTA Craft Fair will be taking place at Davis Hill on Saturday (11/23) from 10:00-3:00. Definitely consider checking it out!
Kindly,
Jay C. Norton, Principal
*Don't forget to read through the entire update... there are always more dates in the Upcoming Events Section. If you have any questions/ concerns- please don't hesitate to contact me/ the office.

UPCOMING EVENTS
RECESS/ COLD WEATHER/ CLOTHES LABELING
Please remember that we try to get the kids out for recess every day when the temperature is 20 degrees or above (We factor in wind chill and other safety precautions as well). This is true also if there is a slight drizzle/ mist. Please ensure that students are properly attired for the weather conditions.
In addition, we have a Lost and Found that fills up very quickly. We have a number of items that go unclaimed. Please make sure to label items whenever possible. This includes jackets/ sweatshirts/ water bottles/ lunch boxes/ hats/ gloves/ etc. Items that are labeled have a much greater percentage of being returned than those that are not.
Thank you!

To register go to https://www.wachusett.com/Tickets-Passes/Groups/School-Groups.aspx and use the code DAVH. There is a place where a bus is mentioned. There is no bus offered for this program. The student/family are responsible for their own transportation to/from the mountain. For more information please see attachment below.
This has always been a fantastic Davis Hill Community building event where the kids and even the adults meet with friends both old and new.
Hopefully that covers everything. Please feel free to share this email and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
See you on the Mountain!
