COLT FAMILY NEWS
November 26, 2023
Dear Families,
We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break and is ready to return to school. December will be a busy month. It is hard to believe we are only 19 school days away from the new year!
Have a great week!

PICTURE RETAKE DAY
Retake day will be on Tuesday, November 28th. Foals are welcome to have their pictures taken as well!
POWER OF PLACE
Please consider joining our very own Mrs. Henderson-Howie at her Power of Place presentation on Monday, 11/27 where she will be sharing her travel experiences related to the Holocaust. See the specifics below. This session will be held at CPCS and via Zoom.
HOLIDAY SHOP
The Holiday Store provides students with a special opportunity to experience the joy of giving by choosing their own holiday gifts for friends and family! Colts in Action is looking for volunteers the week of December 4th-8th to help with the Holiday Store. Please use the link below to choose a time(s) to volunteer.
FOOD DRIVE
Student Government will be conducting a food drive during the month of December. SGA reps will be sharing more information soon!
COSTUME CLOSET
The Colts in Action PTO group is still collecting costumes to build "closet of costumes" so that when Halloween 2024 rolls around, every little ghoul and goblin will have lots of options to choose from! Items can be dropped off at the main office. All sizes of gently used and new costumes accepted.
JACKETS & COLD WEATHER
Jackets MUST be worn by all students on the bus during winter months. In the event of an accident, jackets are vital for student safety. Hoodies do not suffice.
BOX TOPS
We have made $100 of our $500 goal! Help our school earn FREE money! Shop and then scan your receipts using the Box Tops app. Super easy! Use this code to connect to the CPCS account: KLFK717E
