  • Examples from the library include:
  • Rocket boys by Homer Hickam Jr. (focuses on the dream of building a rocket, and the dream coming true)
  • Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt (focuses on Frank's mother Angela and her death)
  • A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah (focuses on Ishamael's life as a soldier)
  • The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls (focuses on Jeannette's childhood with dysfunctional parents)
  • Three Little Words by Ashley Rhodes-Courter (focuses on Ashley's childhood in 14 foster homes)

Autobiography

  • A book about a person's life written by that person

  • A book about a person's life written by another person.
