KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is in still in search of a few great high school math and science teachers for the 2015-16 school year! KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) is a national network of free, open enrollment, college preparatory schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. KIPP Metro Atlanta (www.kippmetroatlanta.org) currently operates eight KIPP schools including three elementary schools, four middle schools, and one high school as well as the KIPP Through College Program which supports students on their journey “to and through” college. Georgia School for Innovation and the Classics - HIRING
in Hephzibah, Georgia. The Georgia School for Innovation and the Classics, will begin educating students this upcoming 2015-2016 school year. It will be a K-6 school the first year and will add an additional grade every year until they are a K-12 school. They are currently taking applications for new and experienced teachers for all grade levels. They are also looking for an art teacher and a teacher with language experience, specifically Latin. BLAST consists of a cutting edge, high intensity cardio / strength training program that focuses on balanced levels of treadmill conditioning and group fitness floor work. Responsibilities:
- Teaching at least 4 classes per week
- Promoting BLAST programs, products, and services to class participants and prospective clients.
- Acting as a health & fitness role model by living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Job Requirements:
- Group fitness class instruction or personal training experience
- Preferably is certified with one of the following Nationally Accredited Certification Programs: NSCA, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NASM, TWCC-ACPT
- Training will be provided for program instruction and MindBody membership software

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science or related field of
study. One or more of the following certifications preferred: CSCS,
NASM, ACSM, CPT, ATC or be actively pursuing certification. Self-starter with experience training athletes in a team setting or small groups preferred. Knowledge and experience with Olympic lifts, traditional strength training techniques, and plyometrics. Individual must possess strong people skills and confidence working with all age groups. Ability to work in a multi-task environment needed.
