Cranberry Court

The 2022 Bandon Cranberry Court applications are available at the BHS office for any junior interested in applying. Applications are due to the office by May 24.

State Golf

The boys golf team had a great showing at state, placing 3rd as a team. Ryan Flynn and Peyton Simonds led the team, finishing 11th and 13th as individuals. This was following a strong district golf performance, where the team ended up 2nd overall and Peyton Simonds was the district medalist.

Track is off to state

Our track team had a strong showing at the district track meet in Hidden Valley, qualifying 7 boys and 9 girls to compete in the State Track Meet at Hayward Field on, May 19th and 20th. We had multiple district champions including Hunter Angove setting the school record in the Pole Vault at 15'0.25" Good Luck Tigers!!!!

State Band Udpate

On Friday, May 13th, the Bandon High School Band competed at the OSAA State Band competition located at the OSU LaSalle Center. In order for the band to be able to participate at the state event, they have to have received qualifying scores from a previous festival. These festivals take place all over the state of Oregon and all schools with a band program 1-6A are invited to participate in them. Anyone with a qualifying score can then "apply" to participate in the state competition, but only the top 8 bands are invited.

The Bandon High School Band placed 3rd out of 8 bands that participated in the event, meaning that the Bandon High School band is the 3rd best 2A band in the state of Oregon!!!!

"I thought the band showed up at the competition ready to play their best and that is what they did!" Mr. Weston

Students interested in helping with the Bandon Police Department at the National Night Out event on August 2 please sign up on the clipboard at the office window. Students will help with setup, games during the event, and clean up after. This is a chance for students to give back to the community that gives so much to them.

Attention students, please turn in all outstanding textbooks and or library books you may have from last year or the first semester of this year. The office will be sending out bills for missing books.

School Dance

The dance was originally just for 7th/8th graders, but 6th grade is now being invited as one of their "bridge" activities as we prepare for their move up to the 7/8 wing next year!

End of Year Festivities are Coming!

We have begun the hard work of organizing the 8th grade promotion and other end of year activities. Please be on the look out for emails and snail mail regarding details! Our 8th grade promotion is scheduled for June 15th from 6-7pm. The 8th graders will be going bowling on the 15th in the afternoon. There is no school for 8th graders on the 16th.

Final Choir Recital

The Choir Recital has been rescheduled for June 1st @ 6pm in the HLMS gym.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found at our school is bursting at the seams! If you suspect your student may have lost a jacket or sweater, please remind them to check our lost and found.
Student Hand Book

Please take some time to review our student handbook with your student. We would particularly like you to remind your student of our expectations with regards to cell phones and appropriate technology use.

Cell Phone Policy

Just a reminder, students are not allowed to have cell phones out during school hours. We require them to be kept off and in their locker or backpack during the day. This includes breaks and at lunch. Please encourage your student to come to the office or their teachers if they have a concern or need help instead of reaching out to you via cell phone during the day. This way we can help make sure that all your student's needs are being met. We have a student phone available in the commons that is always available.
