Student Voices and LYNX Partner Feedback

LYNX scholars and partners provide feedback after each LYNX experience about lessons learned and impact. Scholars participated in group activities with Lori Rovito, owner of Rita's of Frederick, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of her business:

"I enjoyed hearing about what an owner does, because [Ms. Rovito] does everything herself and I might want to start a business one day." Claire M., Class of 2023

"I love seeing the students come in not sure what to expect and then leaning in closer and closer as the talk goes on. Finally when they get to the Q&A they are full of really great questions that I know they have thought hard about asking. It's always very fulfilling coming over to FHS and presenting to your students." Lori Rovito, Owner - Rita's of Frederick

LYNX Scholars returned to EDCO to design a product then apply their technical skills bending sheet metal and powder painting.
