Quotes and other things...
First and foremost, please know that when I share links, quotes, articles, etc... I am sharing them because for one reason or another, they caught my attention. It's important that we ALL continue to stretch our thinking and to keep learning. Perhaps they presented a viewpoint I hadn't ever considered, or taught me something new. They may have confirmed my thinking, or even be related to an event or a conversation that had taken place at a recent meeting. Sometimes, they are something that has been shared with me by another staff member. None are intended for any one person or are an attempt to send a hidden message. And as always, should you ever have a question, simply come to me.
"Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything or to do anything in particular but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported."

"Achieving success is a challenge, but so is struggling, so you may as well choose success."- Rob Liano, writer and consultant.
"Don't let someone else's opinion of you become your reality."- Les Brown, motivational speaker
"It's not what you achieve, it's what you overcome. That's what defines your career."- Carlton Fisk, baseball player
"Change means that what was before wasn't perfect. People want things to be better."- Esther Dyson, journalist
On Monday, July 11th, EdCampLeader will be happening in Sun Prairie, WI. I know what you're thinking. "It's a Monday in July. Why would I want to go to Sun Prairie and be inside all day?" Well, I checked with Haddie McLean and she said it was going to rain all day on Monday, July 11th. It is also an opportunity to connect with like-minded educators as well as those who are not like minded. You can stretch and learn. The only thing it will cost you is gas money. Breakfast and lunch are provided. And there are door prizes, too. Here is the link: http://edcampleadership.ticketleap.com/2016/ If you have any questions, ask me! You don't need to have a title to be a leader. You are all leaders!
