Midterms/Finals checking out procedure and schedule!
Students can bring a parent note to have permission to leave early. The parent
notes must be signed by a parent/guardian and have a phone number to call so we can verify the
note. These notes do not count toward the three parent notes students are allowed during the
semester. These will be turned in to the 1st period teacher and collected by the office admin at
the beginning of 1st Period. (In the event you have students who only have to take finals during
the 2nd Period of the day, please send those to the office at the beginning of 2nd Period).
End of Course and Case Testing Schedules!!
During the EOC testing window which starts the week after Thanksgiving our
school schedule will be modified for our students. In order to get all EOC and
CASE testing completed in the morning our school Administrative team have
come up with an alternate schedule. It goes as follows:
--If a student is scheduled to take an End of Course Exam or a CASE test they must
report to school at the regular time (7:45). Testing will be conducted from 7:50-
9:50. After testing our school day will begin. Busses will continue to run at regular
time.
--On days that a student does not have to take and End of Course Exam or a CASE
test they do not have to report to school until 9:50. At 10:00 they will be counted
tardy.
Please note that busses will run at regular time and if a student rides a bus and
does not have a test to take they will sit in the gym until school begins at 9:50.
The school will be open at regular time for students who do not have a ride to
school and will need to be here at 7:45.
This modified schedule is meant to accommodate testing so that our students are
fresh and ready to do well on tests. If students skip their appropriate test day and
numerous makeups have to be conducted because the students want to wait to
take tests then the modified schedule will be done away with and testing will be
conducted throughout the school day with no option to come in later.
Testing will run from November 28-December 12. We will be on our regular schedule November 13th!
