RAISE Them UP Parenting Program
Free Childcare and Dinner Provided!
5-Week RAISE Them UP Program for Parents
The Five-Week RAISE Them Up parenting program provides an atmosphere of support and engaged learning for parents and caregivers of children ages 0 to preteen. Participants will learn about youth brain development, discipline, building empathy and self-worth, as well as positive ways to deal with anger and stress. These sessions will focus on practical and easy-to-learn parenting practices that work for families, encourage positive behavior, and strengthen relationships with children. Lessons also address the importance of parents taking care of themselves and getting their needs met. Adults who make time to care for themselves find parenting more enjoyable.

Facilitators
Charisse and Micah established their company, RAISE, to help reach a broader audience with more of a focus on prevention by teaching positive family management skills. Their goal is to equip more families with better tools to grow stronger personal relationships, make better choices, and learn how to recognize their feelings, while owning the behaviors associated with them. They help parents learn to grow and develop more empathy and self awareness, while implementing healthier and more effective discipline techniques. Their objective is to help parents learn to problem solve, compromise, feel empowered, and lead an overall more loving, peaceful and productive lifestyle. With their guidance, families learn how to move forward and grow from their experiences, as well as establish a stable, nurturing, safe and healing environmen for their families to thrive in.
