We are excited to welcome Sandy Shepard to provide administrative support to our students and staff!

She has started and run successful charter schools and serves as a director mentor. Mrs. Shepard has worked at every level in the public school system and has the unparalleled ability to step into this role fully aware of the high expectations required to provide the highest quality education to our students.
Please help us welcome Mrs. Shepard to our amazing community!
Meet and Greet
Coronavirus Guidance
We want to begin by thanking you for your patience as we have been awaiting additional guidance from our local and state health officials regarding COVID-19 and the upcoming school year. We have now received those recommendations and will follow the direction and guidance that has been given.
State health officials strongly recommend that all staff and every eligible student (currently those 12 years and older) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, preferably before the school year begins. In addition, they highly encourage all students and staff to wear masks while indoors. Please be aware, Advantage Arts Academy does not have authority to initiate a mask mandate. If your child is sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, they should not come to school and should be tested for COVID-19. Other practices such as good hygiene and physical distancing is also encouraged.
Advantage Arts Academy will continue to take precautionary measures to maintain a safe school environment. As you are all aware, this remains a dynamic situation. For updates on the most current information regarding COVID-19 and Utah’s public schools, including with respect to vaccines, masks, and quarantine protocols, please visit: https://coronavirus.utah.gov/education/.
First Day of School
School begins at 8:45 AM. The first week of school will be "early out" days ending at 1:30 PM.
Kindergarten
KEEP Assessment
In order to best meet each child's educational needs, we take the first week before Kindergarten begins to assess each child individually. If you have a kindergarten student and have not yet signed up for a KEEP assessment time, please sign up ASAP.
Class Placement
Kindergarten student class lists will be posted in Aspire by August 14th.
Kindergarten Night
Kindergarten students are invited to attend the Meet and Greet on August 9th and visit with both teachers. There will also be a special Kindergarten Night on August 16th. We hope you'll attend.
Kindergarten students start school on Tuesday, August 17th!
Car Loop
We have broken the grades up so there are less students at each entrance. K-2 will drop off and pick up at the front door area of the school. 3-6th grade will drop off and pick up on the east side of the building. If you have older and younger children you can pick up and drop off at the youngest child's designated entrance.
Please become familiar with the drop off and pick up map and procedures.
