Comparing G.D.P

Gross Domestic Product (G.D.P) Is the total value of of a Countries products and services provided in a year. Qatar has a great G.D.P at 203.2 billion dollars as of 2013 compared to Tanzania's at only 33.23 billion

Comparing G.N.P

Gross National Product (G.N.P) Is the total value of goods and services produced by all investments out of the country, in a year. Tanzania's G.N.P is very low at only 84.4 billion dollars. That's just enough to host the Olympics, such as Sochi witch costed a wopping 50 billion dollars! Compared to Qatar's with a G.N.P of 278.8 billion dollars in 2013. That's more than what Apple has made in the last 5 years!

Birth Rates

Qatar has 11 births out of every 1000 people in a year. There current population is 2.169 million people. Tanzania has 36.82 births per 1000 people in a year. There current population is 49.25 million people. Suprised?

Country name----- 2012---- 2013---- 2014

Tanzania -------------39.7---- 37.9----- 36.82

Death Rate

Okay... this may surprise you... Tanzania (a 3rd world country) has a death rate of 9 people per 1000 compared to Canada at 7! now here comes the big shocker Qatar's death rate is only 1.53 people, now that's impressive.

As you have seen from the data i have shown Qatar is obviously the richer country while Tanzania is a very poor one... some reasons why this may be is that Qatar has a ton of valuable resources and great businesses while Tanzania has to many people for the few resources that its land possesses.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE? (wealthy)

Some factors that may contribute to the wealth of these countries is that... Qatar is very small but still has one of the biggest deposits of natural gas, oil, patrolium and other materials that work along that line...Tanzania on the other hand is fairly large and has very few resources but has quite a few gems/gold witch are very valuable but they are hard to find because of there position (deep underground) Bigger isn't always better. There is also a difference between population Qatar has a very small population for its size and everyone in Qatar is generally wealthy making around 93,714$ annually. The size of Tanzania, as told already is big and has many people but due to the many people many of its residents are left to live on the street and are very poor. they make 694$ annually...

An increase in education would be greatly needed in Tanzania due to its low literacy rate and high birth rate... If Tanzania were to get an increase in education it would probably help out their economy. This would help their economy because if they had more smart people than the country would be able to start more companies investments ect and would be able get the government more tax money to put to what they want... It would probably also decrease the population of Tanzania in a positive way because people would learn about safe sex eating better and more this would be good because then there would be less people in the country over time and the government/country would be more wealthy due to the smart people.
I think that the literacy rate of a country is seen as an indicator of quality of life because if more people know how to read and write then they are generally seen as a smarter person. If more people know how to read and write there will be more businesses, more money, better homes, family healthcare, healthy food ect. While if you don't have this intelligence in life then you will not get the opportunities to get things to "improve" your life.

It is important to consider the infant mortality rate to fertility rate because it shows the quality of life in a said area. Say there are a lot of women impregnated and most of their baby's die then it is showing that they do not have the materials/right food to support the baby within the said area. It is important to recognize this because that means that the area needs to be given help if possible so that their life can get better...
