Exam Information
BRING TO THE EXAM
- MCHS ID Card or Driver's License
- Several Sharpened #2 pencils with erasers (NOT mechanical pencils).
- Several pens with black or dark blue ink
- Up to two approved calculators for Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics and Statistics. See Collegeboard.com/ap/calculators for policy.
OPTIONAL - you may bring to the exam
- Masks
- Hand sanitizer (label removed)
- Watch with NO internet access, alarms or sounds
- Ruler or straightedge for Physics exams
- Sweater or sweatshirt with EMPTY pockets
- Drinks in a clear, unlabeled container
- Snacks - unwrapped/labels removed and in a clear plastic "ziploc" bag.
NOT ALLOWED - DO NOT BRING
- NO Cellphones, smartphones, Apple/smart watches, bluetooth devices, MP3/ipod, camera, computer ear phones etc.
- NO Purses, Wallets, or backpacks
- NO Hydro flask, Thermos-type containers
- NO Scratch paper
- NO books, mechanical pencils, correction fluid, highlighters, protractors etc.
- NO Pillows, blankets, stuffed animals etc.
- NO Clothing with subject-related information
Lunch: Students taking afternoon exams will be released from classes at 11:15 am. The Mt. Carmel cafeteria will offer a modified lunch menu for all students beginning at 11:15 am.
Dismissal: Students may not be dismissed until an exam session has officially ended. Do not ask to leave early if you finish before the end of the session, as your request will be denied. If you play a sport or have a job, it will be your responsibility to inform your coach or employer of your AP obligation and arrangements should be made accordingly.

The student will give the note to the test proctor at the BEGINNING of the exam. Please do not call attendance for early dismissal during AP testing.
General Attendance: You are required to abide by the policies of both the College Board and Mt. Carmel High School during the exam period. Any misconduct will be reported and could jeopardize your AP Exam grade. Please note that you are excused from periods 1-3 for morning exams and periods 4-5 for afternoon exams. Any other period absences must be cleared by parents/guardians, or the student will be considered truant. Attendance will be taken during the exam and submitted to the attendance office.
