Remind Texting for Children's Ministry

Hey all! I want to do the best job communicating to everyone what's going on in children's ministry. To stay connected I'm asking everyone to join our Remind group via text. Please join us by texting @k2374 to 81010 to stay updated on the latest for children's ministry.

Wednesday Night LIVE 6:15 pm

Starting this Wednesday, January 10th our children's activities will have a different look! First of all we have NEW TIMES: 6:15pm-7:15pm! This includes Nursery, Preschool and Elementary age. Our new times will coincide with Pastor Bill's Bible study (begins 1/17) and youth activities. Right now we will not have church dinner. When it resumes dinner will be 5:15-6:15 pm.

For the next several weeks children in 5k-5th grade will meet in the GYM for a 5 week series “Lights, Camera, Action!”. Kids will learn how to pull Biblical truths out of any movie and apply them to their lives. Topics covered in the series will include: jealousy, integrity, friendship, persistence, and encouragement. Kids will watch movie clips from classic kid's movies each week. Kids will have fun learning with games, movie/lesson, and small group discussion.

Our focus Wednesday is Jealousy. Remember Cain and Abel? Some serious jealousy going on there. Our movie clip comes from Toy Story. Kids will learn that Jealousy can change everything if we don't learn to control it.

Preschoolers: Preschoolers will enjoy a Bible story, an art activity, music, and center play. We are in the process of developing a preschool team. If you are interested in being a part of this team please email Preschoolers ages 3-5 will meet on the first floor of the children's building.
