Delgado's Notes

The 2022-2023 school year is already winding down and we are beginning to make preparations for the upcoming year. The students are beginning to recognize that the next grade level is right around the corner! We will continue with the teaching and learning process until the last day of school with fun and engaging activities throughout to enjoy as a school community. Next week we celebrate special members of the Frost Community......our Teachers and Nurse Abbruscato!! I am so honored to work with such special individuals.

Message From Nurse Abbruscato

Spring is HERE

AND SO ARE SEASONAL ALLERGIES

If your child has spring allergies, be proactive!

Tips

1. If your child takes allergy medications, speak to their pediatrician about starting them before their symptoms start.

2. Keep the windows closed, use air conditioning instead of fresh air when possible.

3. Stay indoors when pollen counts are high.

4. Wash hands or shower and change clothes after playing outside.

Symptoms of spring allergies:

· Sinus Congestion

· Runny Nose

· Post-Nasal Drip

· Sneezing

· Coughing

· Red, Itchy, or Watery Eyes

With the onset of allergy season we are asking that parents please send a box of tissue to homeroom teachers. We thank all parents for their assistance in keeping their child(ren) healthy and safe.
