Classes of the Week

Each week our Related Arts, Custodians, Office Staff and other Non-Homeroom teachers, select two classes of the week. These classes are chosen for their cooperation, positive attitudes, and willingness to help others. The chosen classes receive extra recess, a certificate, and a banner flag that hangs outside of their classrooms.

Student Placement- Parent Input- 2022-2023 School Year

As we near the end of this school year, we are already in the planning stages for next school year. One of the most important parts in our planning efforts over the summer is student and class placement. Every year as we begin the student placement process for the upcoming school year, we seek parent input if you wish to provide it. Parent input is used to help us best determine the type of teacher that you think best serves your student's needs. It's is important to remember that families can't request a specific teacher. Please see the link below to access our google form to provide your input.

Forgot to Order a Yearbook?

Did you forget to order a yearbook? You are in luck—we ordered some extras! Please email Sara McCart at if you would like a Soft Cover ($30) or Hard Cover ($35) along with your student’s first and last name and quantity desired. If you have funds in your student’s lunch account that you would like to go toward the cost of the yearbook, please indicate that in your email. We will sell these on a first come-first served basis! Can’t remember if your ordered one? Log into Pay Fees and click on “Paid” to see if you purchased one.

Final Report cards will be published to Paren tPortal Friday, May 27th around noon. Please use this link from a computer as this function will not work from the cell phone app: Choose your student and then select Student Reports. This is a great time to print that last report card that many sports groups might request!

If your family is moving or not returning to the Fort Mill School District for the next school year, please reach out to our PowerSchool Data Manager Michelle England at . This step is essential to our planning for next year and we appreciate your help in updating our records.

Girls on the Run

The Girls on the Run program was back this Spring at Doby's Bridge and our team will end their season this Saturday, May 7th by completing a 5K in Downtown Rock Hill! This team of Dragons worked very hard all season and they have each gotten stronger and they are ready to take on this challenge!

In addition to their running lessons, they completed a Community Impact Project in which they made cards to send to military service members all over the world through They also made bracelets and a poster to share with Military members right here in our community.

If you would like to head on out and cheer on our team, please see the race route included here. It begins at 8:00 am on Saturday in Fountain Park in Rock Hill and they would love to see some Dragon Families/Staff out there cheering them

Please email PE Teacher Kyle Liebler if you have any additional questions Please note, only parents who are “volunteers” will be able to attend Field Day.

Volunteers During the School Day for Copies, Laminating, Poster Making, etc....
