Summer School Updates
As we are moving closer towards wrapping things up, please take a few minutes to fill in the following Google Doc for scholars you are recommending for summer school. There are two sessions and the requirements are in the descriptions on both tabs. Please note there may be some scholars who meet the requirements for both sessions. If that is the case, be sure to add their name to both tabs. It is important to use scholars legal name as indicated in Powerschool (First and Last Name) and no nicknames.
- June Online Self–Paced: Any scholar you feel needs this option may be recommended.
- July Acceleration: Reserved for scholars who received an “I” or are performing in Q1/2.
- Please use the link below to sign scholars up by Monday, May 18 EOD.

Grades and Last week of Lessons
You will only need to create one assignment for each subject in order for the grade to populate. Label it Q4 Grade. Although the scholars will be receiving letter grades, we are required to input a number that will then be translated to I, N, S, or E. This will allow scholars to have an average grade for the year that is numerical. For the purpose of your grades please input the following numbers:
- E = 100
- S = 85
- N = 65
- I = No participation 50
Again, your grades
- should reflect/align to how scholars have performed for Q1-Q3
- Retention scholars grades should match
