QUARTER 2 SCHEDULES
Counselors have balanced classes, so schedules have changed. Please check PowerSchool for your up-to-date schedule.
The deadline to request a schedule change is Wednesday, October 27th. Please contact your counselor via email to request a change.
ATTENDANCE
VSH (Virtual School House) has a flexible schedule where students can attend our live class sessions or watch the recorded sessions. If a student chooses to attend the recorded sessions, there will be an exit ticket for accountability reasons.
Attendance is based on two elements:
1) Attending live lessons or watching class recordings and completing the exit ticket
2) Work completion
Beginning with Quarter 2, VSH 6 – 12 teachers will be taking attendance daily and monitoring coursework completion. If a student is not in a live class, they will be marked absent. Students have seven (7) days to watch the recordings and complete the exit ticket along with the required assignments. If this is done within the seven (7) days, the absence will be changed to Present.
Great news -- VSH will have an attendance line for parents to call their students out for the day beginning on Monday, October 25, 2021. The attendance line number is: 208-855-4456.
VSH PARENT UNIVERSITY
Where: This is an online event. A link to this live event will be sent out in the Parent Newsletter, posted on social media, and available on our website. An archived session will be available on our website the next day.
Parent University is an important informational night which helps parents and students navigate the platforms (Teams and Peak) used at VSH.
TIPS FOR SUCCESS
- Attend all of your live classes or watch the archived sessions and do the exit ticket.
- Keep up on your weekly assignments. Get them completed each week.
- If you have questions, attend your teachers' office hours between 2:45 pm - 3:15 pm.
- Email your teachers to set up an appointment if you need to talk to them.
