Are you a U.S. Citizen?
Most people are U.S. citizens through your birth certificate, immigration, or if one of your parents is a U.S. citizen. If yes, you are a U.S. citizen, if not go to step two.
Do You Qualify to be a U.S. Citizen?
You may qualify to be a U.S. citizen if you are eighteen, or have lived in the U.S. for five years, unless you have been married for three years.
Are you prepared?
to prepare to be a U.S. Citizen it need to have the following. Signed and collected documents you may need. And two passport photos.
Sending it in
You need to send in photographs, passports, and all documents necessary.
Biometrics appointment
All U.S. citizens are required to have a fingerprint. You need to go to the biometrics appointment if required.
Step 6A
The first step in your interview is the English test. You Have to know a certain amount of English and grammar. If failed you take the test 60-90 days later.
Denial
If you are denied you will be notified if and why.
Oath
Again, you are not a citizen until you have taken the oath.
