Our Goals for the day

  • 8:00 Meet in GYM--all staff
  • 8:30 Learning about Adobe Voice and Adobe Slate
  • 9:00 Sharing of ideas with the use of iPads
  • 10:00-11:30 Grade Level PLC topics
  1. Testing updates for grades 3-5 and all involved (stay with Trisha for 10 minutes)
  2. Taking a closer look at district grade level expectations
  3. QRI Training video Grades 3-5
  4. Flipping Spelling tests

Looking ahead—special topics—MTSS Math


  • ·Update about end of year—no District ELA—unless you want to give it paper/pencil, or if you need information for report card.
  • Kindergarten will still give their end of year assessment
  • QRI levels or Rigby assesments are required and reported to me and the district.
  • Math will be given K-4 (5th grade will give MAP) Remember this is on the Envision website, but you must assign it to your class.

PLC TOPICS Grades K-2


  • A Closer Look into a ________-Classroom. Read the document together. What are things that you feel really positive about, unsure about, need more information on. Make tracks on one, take a screen shot and place on SeaSaw.
  • Look at District Adopted materials--do you have them up in your room? Let Trisha know what you need? How can we utilize these for instruction?
  • Review District Guidelines for QRI and Riby Benchmark Asessment Usage.
  • Discuss how you could "flip" spelling pre-tests and post-tests on the iPad. Spend time trying it out.
  • Long range planning with standards in mind--use Focus Standard Documents.
