Shout Out
To Brenda Dieterich and members of the math team. Brenda decided to step out of her comfort zone and teach Algebra II this year. You can see her in Mr. Dukes class learning and assisting students during her conference period, all in an effort to grow as an algebra II teacher. This doesn't happen unless the department chair, Trang Nguyen, being willing to teach algebra I this year. Both decided that this would ultimately be best for students all while becoming better teachers. Thank you all for getting out of your comfort zone, collaborating and leading by example.
Congratulations Maria on receiving the Plano ISD Education Foundation Grant to help fund your student interest novels. The Prize Patrol came through and surprised her with the announcement.
