Homeroom Sessions
During the Tuesday homeroom sessions, teachers should be exposing students to career information. Career information to be used with students can be found within the Google Career Development Site. Each month there are themes with discussion questions and activities are organized by month and discussion and activity. By following the monthly themes we can document what students are learning each month. As we move through the first semester Ilene King will be updating for the second semester.

Personal Learning Time
During the next two weeks as students are working to complete the CDT, students can complete them during the PLT class period. Any student who has not started it and attends PLT have them start the assessment and begin to work on it and then suggest they finish it at the end of the day. Once students take the math CDT on Wednesday, students can work on math starting September 25th. Let's try to break our record from last year for student completion! The first team to get 100% of their students to complete both the ELA and the math CDT will win a prize! If we can get 98% of our students to test in both areas by the end of the benchmark window, there will be a special middle school team surprise! Good luck and let's do our best to get all of our students assessed!
