Response to Violent Intruders
Provided in partnership with IU 8 and IU 13
Train the Trainer Opportunity
Everybody is talking about some variation of implementing a “run, hide & fight” program. When it comes to developing a strategy for responding to an active shooter, we have a great solution for you!
In partnership with John Baker of IU13's Safety Solutions 4 Schools, SS4S and Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8, we recognize that the real issue isn’t just ‘active shooters,’ but also ‘violent intruders.’ Very few people will ever be faced with an active shooter in the school or workplace. However, just about everybody will encounter a violent intruder, or someone who is demonstrating the potential of becoming violent, during the course of a lifetime. Whether at home, school or work, this course will provide participants with a life skill that can save lives and reduce injury.
