MBIT Welcomes New Administrative Director
Dr. Covelle was voted in as the new Administrative Director of MBIT during the Executive Council Committee of the Whole meeting. Following the meeting, there was a Meet & Greet for the staff, students, and community.

Multimedia Technology Students Attend NATAS
Multimedia Technology Students Attend NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences)-Mid Atlantic Emmy Awards
Multimedia Technology (MMT) students Emma Hancock(Central Bucks), Joseph Shannon (William Tennent), and Brian Daly (Central Bucks South) gain some real-life experience working the NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences)-Mid Atlantic Emmy Awards at the Loews hotel in Philadelphia. Working with a professional photographer the MMT students captured photos of the event, ushered winners to the greenroom, and helped backstage. They even ran into alumni MMT student, Dario Adame who was working on one of the cameras for the global streaming of the event.
In April every year the Mid-Atlantic High School Production Awards for future industry professionals recognizes talented high school students with two scholarship opportunities. For 2021-2022, the chapter offered $1000 as the Next Gen Diversity in Broadcast Scholarship. Three teams were nominated from our Multimedia Technology program during the 2022 event!

MBIT’s Dual Enrollment program with Bucks County Community College!
MBIT’s Dual Enrollment program with Bucks County Community College is underway and had a record number of students enrolled for the fall session! Each student earns 3 college credits! Starting their college education while in high school!
38 MBIT students and 10 Upper Bucks students enrolled in the Introduction Digital Marketing course, at Middle Bucks’ The course is offered online, in an asynchronous environment through the use of Bucks County’s Course space – Canvas. It is a “real” college course where students obtain 3 college credits through BCCC!! MBIT’s dual enrollment program offers business-related courses every Fall and Spring semester to our Juniors and Seniors. Great choices our students are making!
