Graduation - May 26

Druid Hills High School Graduation Ceremony will take place Friday, May 26 @ 7pm at the Georgia World Congress Center (Hall C1). Please visit the DCSD's Grad Central Station page for Frequently Asked Questions, maps, parking information, etc.


Note: Diplomas will not be distributed during Graduation. Graduates or their parents/guardians (please bring identification) can pick up their diplomas May 30th through June 1st between 9-12am and 1-4pm.

Summer Graduate Transition Centers

DCSD's Student Advancement Department will pilot Summer Transition Centers during the month of June. The centers will provide support for students graduating in the Class of 2017 (or recent graduates) but unsure of next steps for college. We want to help these students make a smooth transition to their college campus in the fall!



The attached document lists all Summer Transition Center locations, dates, and times.

2017-2018 Course Verification Forms

9-11th grade students received course verification forms on Tuesday for next year's classes yesterday. The deadline for students returning the forms to the Counseling Office is Thursday. Students seeking a course change should strike out the course they do not want and write the course they do.

Summer Building Hours

Week of 5/29: Tuesday - Friday 8:00-4:00

June 5 - July 21: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 3:00

We will be closed July 4 and on Fridays

Summer School

Druid Hills will be hosting credit recovery summer school June 5-29 from 8am-3pm Mondays-Thursdays. We will be offering the following courses:


  • Civics/Geography
  • US History
  • Coordinate Algebra
  • Analytic Geometry
  • Advanced Algebra
  • Environmental Science


Students who have failed one of the above courses are eligible to participate. To register, please return invitation letter to the Main Office.

Summer Bridge for Rising 9th Grade Students

Druid Hills High will be holding our 2nd SummerBridge program for Rising 9th grade students July 24-27 from 8am-12pm. SummerBridge serves as a bridge to support rising 9th graders in making a successful transition to high school. New to this year, we will be providing support to students beginning the Pre-IB program.


Please feel free to share this information with rising 9th grade families.
