Math Updates:
Reading Updates:
"We Love Reading and Chick-fil-a Night" was a huge success! It was great to see so many of our BPES family there.
As the F&P winds down, please celebrate your student's success. This new data is crucial when planning your Guided Reading groups. Continue to be diagnostic when you are conferring with students. This will help you see what reading strategies your students are using, and which ones they still need to master. Your reading team is here to support you!

Updates from Rodney:
- The F&P window has been changed due to the weather we had last week. The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 5th. Your data is due Wednesday, Feb. 27th, so we can pull the data ahead of time. Thank you!
- On Tuesday will focus on Mission and Vision. We will focus on the "Patriot" Way, Our Brand and Our WHY. Ms. Puglia, Dr. Miller and I will be leading the PD.
- On Tuesday, Aileen and Victoria will provide a brief overview of Sign Up Genius and the upcoming conference day that is scheduled for March 5th.
- On Wednesday will will have a check-in session during your planning time. I will stop by your Team Leader's Room, during your planning time, to check-in with your team. Some topics we will discuss will be: SLOs, CDM Data, and Grade Level Marking Period Data.
- Grading Policy: I am working to have something in place for MP4. I want to make sure that this is rolled out the right way and that we are all on the same page. Please continue to provide students opportunities to redo assignments. More information to follow.
- Reminder: Students should not be wearing hats or hoods when inside the building.
- Cafeteria Reminder: Please keep your expectations high in the cafeteria. Students will do what you expect them to do.
Math Data - Glows and Grow
The data below reflects just the classrooms we were able to visit last week.
Glows:
- 8 out of 8 classrooms had standard based outcomes.
- 4 out of 4 intermediate classrooms had evidence of the CRA model.
Grow:
- 1 out of 4 of the primary classrooms had an Anchor Chart that aligned to the content that was being covered in the classroom.
Due to the time we lost because of snow, we were unable to make it all of the classrooms, so we will continue to focus on MATH this upcoming week.
