Vaccinations
Once your child has received both doses of the vaccine, you can submit a copy of their completed vaccination card to the district. Students that have received two doses of a covid vaccine will not have to undergo weekly COVID testing and, as long as they have no symptoms, can avoid quarantining if they are exposed to someone with a confirmed case.
To submit your card, please fill out this form and include a picture. You will need a Google account to use this form. If you do not have a Google account, you can email a photo of the card to kdaly@rtsd26.org or bring it to the office in person. We will help fill out the form for you.
As always, feel free to contact your school or the district office with any questions.
Winter Testing Season for Our Students
Winter Benchmark Testing (local district assessment)
ACCESS Testing (state assessment)
Students that are identified as English Learners will be taking the ACCESS test in January and February. Only specific students complete this assessment, which measures English language proficiency in the areas of listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Cognitive Abilities Test: CogAT (Local District Assessment)
Students in grades 3 and 5 will be completing the CogAT in February. The Cognitive Abilities Test is intended to estimate students' learned reasoning and problem solving abilities through a battery of verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal test items.
Illinois Assessment of Readiness: IAR (State Assessment)
Students in grades 3-5 will take the IAR in March/April. IAR is the state accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district and assesses the Illinois Learning Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Illinois Science Assessment: ISA (State Assessment)
Students in grade 5 will be completing the ISA at the same time they complete the IAR in March/April. ISA is the state accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district that assesses Illinois Learning Standards in Science.
