Smore

Dear Parents,

How can this be our last Smores update? WOW!! Please make sure you read through and save some dates.

HAWAIIAN FALLS End of the Year Party will take place on Tuesday, May 30. There is a 2nd permission form that will come home in the Tuesday Newsday tomorrow that is very important. It is a WATER PARK permission slip that says your child can swim. It is important that you fill this out with thought about your child's safety in mind. It is important that we know if your child is strong swimmer or not. Please return the permission form ASAP. Lunch will be provided as well as unlimited drinks and refills. Please send a bag with a beach towel, sunscreen, change of clothes or cover up for the ride there and back. Please make sure swimsuits are appropriate.

Parents, if you still are planning on joining us , we MUST have your $25 IN CASH by THIS FRIDAY. A reminder, you must have a cleared background check to attend. No tickets will be sold at the gate that day. This is the only way to get a ticket for the park.

End of Year Celebration Night

Our 5th grade celebration Honors night will take place on Thursday, May 25 @ 6PM. It is a special evening for dressing up to celebrate your child moving forward and being successful. A formal invitation went home in Tuesday folders last week. To help make this special, we ask that your children come dressed nicely for the occasion.

We will be having career week May 22-26. There will be some special activities going on for the students. With this , we have special days for what to wear:

Monday~ HVE spirit shirt

Tuesday~ Wear Briarhill colors

Wednesday~ Wear Marcus colors

Thursday~ Wear a COLLEGE shirt

Friday~ Dress up as a future career you are interested in!

As always, we ask that you remind your child that we do still have school and work that we are doing. Grades ARE still being taken for this 9 weeks. Please remind them to make good choices, do their best, and listen. We have some fun activities planned , but still expect great character from our students. :)
