The Safety Car

Can I make a car to keep an egg safe when it hits a wall?

I think that an egg inside a car with padding or soft stuff will protect it very good.

Background Knowledge

Speed- rapidity in moving, going, traveling ,proceeding, or performing

Force- physical power or strength possessed by a living being

Inertia- inertness, especially with regard to effort, motion, action, and the like

Acceleration- the act of accelerating; increase of speed or velocity

Friction- surface resistance to relative motion; as of a body sliding or rolling

Momentum- force or speed of of movement; impetus, as of a physical object or course of events

Potential Energy- the energy of a still object getting ready to move

Kinetic Energy- energy of motion

First, I found a cardboard box. Then, I measured an egg. Next, I cut out my cars edges and the bottom of the car. Finally, I put two straws on the bottom of the car and little wood steaks in the straw and hot glued my car's sides and the wheels together.

My speed of my car was not bad. I was kind of right about putting milk caps as my wheels. My car passed the crash stage, I tested it twice and stayed safe both times.
