Staffing Updates
Jill is no longer employed with MMA. We appreciate her contribution to the school and wish her the best moving forward. Lana and I are meeting with the lower el team Monday to discuss the plan moving forward.
Please welcome Becky, who begins with us Monday to be a special education teaching assistant.

School-wide, we will start this in January; logistics are still being worked out.
Student Injury Procedures Updated
When you send a child to the office with an injury you would like addressed, please also send a completed injury report with the child. If a child has a more severe injury that requires immediate attention, please walk them to the office and fill out the injury report as the office is addressing the injury.

Lice Information
If you suspect that a child in your class has lice, please alert the office. If a case of lice is confirmed or a parent informs you that their child has lice, please communicate with all of the parents in the class using a standard letter from the office. I do not have it with me at this moment to attach here.

FSA Open Enrollment
The open enrollment period for Flexible Spending Accounts for 2019 will be from November 1st, 2018 through November 21st, 2018. This process will need to be completed online through Helpside’s employee portal. If any of you need help with their username or password, please contact Maddie@AcademicaWest.com via email or 801-444-9378.
As a friendly reminder, FSA elections do not roll over from year to year. Full-time employees are eligible for a FSA.
