Carpenter Middle School
Here's What's Happening at the Ranch!
Principal's Pen
Howdy Cowboy Family,
On behalf of your Cowboy Staff, I would like to take a moment to express how excited we are about the second semester and to welcome back our students. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed their break and are ready for a positive start to the spring semester!
As we continue striving for excellence, please be reminded of important events during this semester, particularly the STAAR tests. Every day at CMS is another opportunity to prepare and reach personal goals. We are here to help, but it is equally important for each student to take ownership of his/her learning and behavior. By taking ownership, the student is more invested. What will be your mark? How will you be remembered?
See you all bright and early Tuesday, January 5th.
Courtney J. Washington

Robotics Club
A Robotics Club will be forming at Carpenter this semester. Members will learn about robotics engineering by doing what engineers do… design, build and problem solve. We will build robots using VEX Robotics and learn the coding involved in programming them. Meetings will be either before or after school in K212 with dates to be determined. Space is limited so pick up an application form from Ms. Alouf in K212 and return soon to reserve your spot!
