Millstone Primary School - September 2023
Millstone Primary - Where Happy Happens!
Hello Millstone Primary families and friends,
The first days of school were an absolute success! Sure, it was hotter than Georgia asphalt but that didn't stop the smiles and excitement from coming through. The first days of school are always an exciting time. Try to imagine yourself in the shoes of your 5-6 year old....walking into a big school and meeting your teacher for the first time, exploring your new classroom, catching up with friends from last year while introducing yourself to new classmates, the freedom of lunchtime and recess, and all of the other sights and sounds of the school day that are pinging your senses. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment that will be remembered forever! Thank you for trusting us with these memories and for the care of your most prized possessions. This is not a responsibility we take lightly and we look forward to a positive partnership this year.
We invite you to replicate these moments next week at Back to School Night on September 14 (information flyer below). You will have an opportunity to meet your child's teacher and hear about all of the creative ways teaching and learning will take place in the classroom. This year, we are also excited to offer a Parent Information Session at BTSN hosted by Innovamat, our K-2 math program this year. If you have the time, please come to the cafeteria at 5pm to learn more about the program and the highly engaging way your child will be learning math this year!
Cheers to a successful school year!
