February Kindness Challenge
Playground Use Outside of School Hours
After school, once students have joined their parents/guardians and are in their care and under their supervision, students may be on the playground sets. Again, this is an issue with supervision and we do not want anything to happen to our little Black Tigers.
Parents with students picking up younger siblings (HS or MS students): please have conversations regarding how they should not be playing on the equipment when our day is still in session. I understand that older students get out earlier but that becomes a disruption to the end of the day here. I appreciate all of you help with this matter.

I have been blessed with my awesome husband Gary and two sons. My oldest son Lou is currently serving in the Marine Corps. My youngest Rocco is a Junior at Firestone High School and is very passionate about powerlifting. I enjoy hiking, camping, riding my bike and being outdoors.
Meet our Music Teacher!
Get to know Mrs. Shelby Miller
I am a music teacher by day, music maker by night! I grew up watching my dad perform with his band and caught the ‘music bug’ myself when I saw Wicked in 5th grade. My whole life was changed for good!! I graduated from Kent State in 2017 after studying music education and jazz studies and began teaching at Cuyahoga Falls in 2018. I’ve been here ever since! My biggest goal as a teacher is to foster a love of music in all of my students.
When I’m not teaching, I am probably writing and performing! I’ve been writing music since I was 12 and perform with my band all over Northeast Ohio. My music is on all streaming platforms and you can even hear me on the radio– 91.3 The Summit! I play the ukulele, piano, and saxophone. I had vocal cord surgery in 2015 and couldn’t sing for over a year! I’m so thankful to have my voice now. Your children will tell you that’s why I teach with a microphone! Gotta protect those vocal cords!
I am married to my middle school sweetheart, Jimmy. We met in 5th grade and have been together ever since! We have the cuddliest teddy bear for a dog, our goldendoodle– Beesly. We are certifiably obsessed with her. We’re also mega fans of the Office. I love baking, traveling, hiking, and thrifting!

When I’m not at school, you can probably find me somewhere outside, making art with a variety of art mediums, taking photos, or spending time with my Family and Friends. My family includes my Fiance Christian, his two children; CJ and Charlotte, my dog Leo, and my cat, Luna!
