Week 7
Week 7 Notes
This week, we turned the corner on the mid-term of the first trimester. It's been a great start to the year! Next week is shortened to make room for conferences. This is such a crucial time! Please help our community make the time successful by arriving on time and keep the conversation focused. Remember, we are always available to talk. If your time runs out, or you have unanswered questions, the staff is more than willing to schedule another time to meet.
Question of the Week
During conference times, you will learn more about your child's academic and social strengths and opportunities for growth. This week, I encourage you to ask your child "What is one subject you've worked hard on to improve this year?" or "What mid-term grade are you most proud of?" Hopefully, there's a direct correlation between the conversation you have with your son or daughter and the conference you attend later next week.
I look forward to seeing you all in the building.

Collection for the Joy House
Kindness Club Members Are Working to Make a Difference in the Community!
The students belonging to Kindness Club are dedicating the month of October to provide hope and support to those in need in our community. They have created posters, decorated
donation boxes, and have brought in items of their own to donate. Kylie K., Tyler B., Juliana S. and Lainey L., also read an announcement each day to highlight their collection
We are asking you to consider making a donation to the Joy House in Milwaukee. They are desperately in need of winter clothing items, specifically for women and children. The items can be new or gently used! Donation boxes are located outside of the main office and outside of Mrs. Restivo’s door. We are collecting items throughout the month of October. Please consider donating to this wonderful organization so everyone in Wisconsin can stay warm this winter!
Items being collected:
*Winter hats, gloves, and scarves
*Winter coats, snow pants, and boots
Thank you,
Kindness Club Members
