Saint John XXIII Catholic School 2021-2022

Feast of the Ascension of our Lord

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus. The Feast of the Ascension is the fortieth day after Easter Sunday, which commemorates the Ascension of Christ into Heaven, according to Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:2. Today, we remember Jesus’ words to His disciples, “ I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.”

The ascended Jesus is our source of strength and hope. When the doubt creeps in and the burdens become heavy, may we remember that Jesus is fully present in our lives. By His ascension to Heaven, Jesus made it possible for the Holy Spirit to enter at all times and all places.

Planning for the 2022-2023 school year!

Please let the office know if your family is moving and won't be attending St. John XXIII (or St. John Paul II) for the next school year as we are planning for the 2022-2023 school year. You are not required to submit a new registration form if you are returning next year.

Grade 3 students moving to Grade 4

Students entering grade 4 in the fall will need to bring a device to school as another tool for learning. EICS recommends Chromebooks as the ideal device due to price, battery life, fast startup, and usability.

A reminder for all families that the AHS Daily Assessment needs to be completed and actioned each morning prior to coming to school. If your child is experiencing symptoms please choose:

  1. Flu-like symptoms
  2. Other Illness or Injury” If they are experiencing symptoms that you do not deem to be flu-like, or your child has a medical appointment.
  3. Parent Excused.” If your child is experiencing no symptoms at all, please choose this. The parent excused absence should only be chosen if you are keeping your child home for a reason that does not pertain to a medical issue. (i.e dance competition, vacation)

Thank you for your diligence and cooperation with this.

Growing Brains & Sharing Smiles! It's a GREAT Day to be a St. John Kid!
