History of the Mystery :D
The secrets of how it started.
1948-1951
The metal tins that "Frisbie's Pies" were sold in actually flew pretty straight, so this one man named Fred Morrison took it upon himself to make a disc shaped object that flew pretty far, and he succeeded. In 1951 his invention led to the first mass production something called the Pluto Platter which was sold by Whamo.
1966-1968
In Columbia High School in Maplewood New Jersey, Joel Silver and a few other students first recommended the idea of an Ultimate Frisbee game to the student council. The first game to have ever been played was the staff of the school newspaper and the student council.
1970
First interscholastic game with Columbia High School versus Milburn High, and Columbia won with a score of 43-10.
1975
Yale University hosted the first college tournament which included 8 college teams, and Rutgers University won.
