Pain is Multifaceted, Your Treatment Should Be Too

From ACA Connects:

“Best practice guidelines recommend utilizing a biopsychosocial approach, but what this actually looks like in practice is still relatively new and can get lost in translation,” writes Vanessa Morales, DC, a professor and director of clinical assessment at Parker University in Dallas, who is presenting at ACA’s annual meeting, Engage 2023, in January. To provide clarity, Dr. Morales, along with her colleague Kristi Carbonelli, DC, will break down the latest evidence on pain and conservative management during their live presentation, enabling attendees to focus on patients in a more wholistic way. Learn more in this Q&A with Dr. Morales.
