Join the PTA and Win Spirit Wear
Have you joined the PTA for the 2020-2021 school year? For every 20 new members who join, we will raffle off one new spirit wear item to anyone who has already registered for the current school year. Don’t miss your chance to win some free Madison gear and be a part of our community. Register online or print out the membership form and return it to your child's teacher. Attention VA Parents
The PTA is looking for room parents to represent Madison Virtual Academy students. Room parents will help all the Madison families in their grade get to know each other and stay connected with in-person families at Madison. If you are interested in volunteering as a Virtual Academy room parent, please email

Heidi Coppersmith. We are particularly in need of a 2nd grade parent but welcome anyone who would like to volunteer! Register Now for the Madison Fun Run
Registration for the Madison Fun Run is now open! If you haven’t done so already, be sure to sign up to participate and win fabulous prizes. All students can register, regardless of financial contribution and whether they are learning in person or with the Virtual Academy. If we reach our fundraising goal of $10,000, the grade that raises the most will get to silly string Mr. Callahan! The Fun Run will take place the week of September 28. Show Your Spirit at the Fun Run
Help us decorate Madison to cheer on our runners! If you'd like to make a sign to be displayed during the Fun Run, please drop it off at
Sarah Perkins' house (1110 Sunset Rd.) by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25.
Get Involved with Madison Clubs
Are you missing Chess Club, Battle of the Books, Math Club and other PTA-sponsored activities? Don’t worry - the PTA is looking to put on virtual clubs and events this year. Stay tuned for more details, or if you can help, sign up for a committee!
Madison Swag from the PTA
The PTA has purchased seat cushions for every Madison student. In-person students received theirs at school this week, and Virtual Academy students will receive theirs soon! Students can use them for outdoor learning, smile breaks, e-learning and more. Post a photo on the PTA Facebook page of your student using their new seat cushion!

You can support the Madison PTA when you shop:
- Box Tops for Education: Scan your grocery receipt in the Box Tops app, and Madison will earn 10 cents from every qualifying item. Download the app.
- AmazonSmile: Join AmazonSmile and select Madison, so when you shop Amazon - on the website or through the app - the PTA will get 0.5% of your eligible purchases. Learn more on the PTA website.
