Four County Parenting Help Sessions
Four County is now offering FREE parenting workshops every 3rd Friday of the month from 11:30am-12:00pm. Parenting workshops are not just for young or inexperienced parents; they're for everyone who wants to become a better parent.
All parents are welcome to join!
Some education topics will be internet safety, the importance of communicating with the school, effective discipline techniques, teaching responsibility and respect in the home, listening, and responding to children, setting and enforcing rules in the home, and improving sleep routines for kids. When parents increase their level and quality of interactions with their children, children become better prepared for school and personal success in life. By attending these workshops, parents will be able to stay up-to-date on the newest and most effective parenting techniques. They can also connect with other parents that are experiencing similar situations and form a supportive network.
Below is the link that parents can use to access the workshops and the dates!

Band and Choir Sign Up - Repeat
6th and 7th Grade Parents:
Tipton has a proud tradition of musical excellence, and Band and Choir are fun activities with proven academic and social benefits. Perhaps you were considering signing up for Band or Choir last year, but, due to the uncertainty caused by the virus, you decided against it. Here is some good news: It's not too late. Your student can join Band or Choir for next year, no experience needed.
To join Choir, simply contact Mr. Shaver to have your student's name added to next year's class list.
To join Band, you will need to choose an instrument, and Mr. Shaver will be glad to help. Contact him to arrange for your student to try out an instrument. He will also provide you with any other information you will need.
For students who are already in Band or Choir, there is nothing to do. They will be automatically enrolled for next year.
Mr. Shaver can be reached at 765-675-7521, ext. 228, or by email at rshaver@tcsc.k12.in.us
Be part of the tradition!
