My Academic Smart Goal
My academic smart goal is to graduate high school with honors. I would like to pass with an average on my report card that is higher than 80% but I would like pass with an average of 90 percent, which is my goal.
Measuring my progress
To measure the progress of my goal I will have to wait till my report card comes out every few months. I will also try my best by adding up the total on my tests and assignments to keep track of my marks in all of my classes. This way if I will have the best interpretation of what my mark will be on my report card. To check if my goal has been completed I will have to add up all of my marks and divide them by the number of classes if have to check my average. If this adds up to 90 percent than I have completed my academic smart goal.
The Steps To Achieve My Goal
In order to achieve my goal I will need to make and follow steps. In order to get a 90 percent average I will need to get very high marks in all of my classes. To make sure of this I will need to make a schedule for how I use my time. I must not waste it. Also in classes I must ask questions as soon I do not understand something. I must make sure I am not guessing the answers on test as this will affect my overall mark in that class. I must also get at least 8 hours of sleep as this way I will not be tiered in class. I will also have to eat a healthy breakfast as this will help me think better. These are the few steps I must take to achieve my goal.
Why This Is My Goal
The Goals To Achieve My Main Goal
To achieve this main goal o must make smaller goals. My smaller goals are to make sure that I get at least an 85 percent average on all of the report cards I get from the rest of grade 10 and 11 leading up to the very last one in grade 12.
My Volunteering Smart Goal
My Volunteering smart goal is to help out and get at least 100 volunteering hours before I graduate high school. I will try to volunteer at places that are in need of help and in places that I could possibly want to work in the future.
Measuring My Progress
To measure how well I am doing to achieve my goal, I will keep track of the hours I have achieved on a piece of paper that I will later be able to hand into my high school guidance counselor. As I volunteer at places I will keep getting my papers signed and as soon as I reach 100 hours I have achieved my volunteering smart goal.
Steps To Achieve My Goal
In order to achieve this goal I would need to make a seclude as I must take time out of my normal life and make time to go out and volunteer so I can get the required hours. I would need to plan ahead of time and make sure I have the recruitment to get the hours needed. I would need to make sure that I have a ride to the place where I can volunteer and that I can come in on a certain time. I must plan ahead and so I can achieve my goal.
