WST Weekly Update
January 10 - 14, 2022
Welcome Back to School
Covid Updates:
WST is seeing a significant increase in Covid cases since returning from break. Please remember if your student is ill to please keep them home from school. WST does have the ability to rapid test students who may need one. It is best if students/parents contact us from the parking lot and we can bring the test out to them. You can call our main office number 360-473-0550 to have someone test your child in the parking lot.
End of Semester Soon:
The end of the semester is coming up quickly! Last day of 1st semester classes is Monday, January 31. Second semester begins Tuesday, February 1. Please check in with your students on their grades.
Returning Students for the 2022-2023 School Year:
Students interested in participating in a second year at WST have the opportunity to apply BEFORE open registration. The application is being developed now and it will be out to students and families soon.
Second year students may choose to take a second year of their current program (if offered), or apply for a new program of interest.

How to sign up for a “Flash Alert” text message
Flash alert recommends that you download their free mobile phone app and sign-for “push notifications.” However, if you don’t want to download an app, you can opt-in for email and text messages. Here is how:
Enter your email address (work or personal) and hit “subscribe”
This takes you to the “Sign-Up” page.
Enter a password and then click “Create Your Account”
On the next screen, you are going to have to validate your email by providing a code
that FlashAlert will send you.
You can then enter 2 other email addresses OR cell phone numbers to receive text
messages.
NOTE: It looks like you can only enter email addresses! BUT - you can enter your cell phone number - but you have to enter it like an email address - and it has to be done differently depending on your carrier. The email address is your 10-digit phone number @:__________

3605555555@vtext.com
If you had T-Mobile, you’d enter: 3605555555@tmomail.net Below is a list of the format for various mobile carriers.
