News and Information for 2021-2022
A note from our principal:
The beginning of our year has been absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing your students with us. I have never been at a campus where the students are so kind, thoughtful, and have such great manners. Truly. As you’ll see on our calendar, we have quite a few events happening this month. Open House is on September 14th from 5:30-6:00 and I cannot wait for you all to see what great things your kiddos have been doing. International Dot Day, a celebration taken from the famous book “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds, is on September 15th. We encourage everyone to dress up in their polka dot outfits and be ready to learn more about courage, creativity, and self-expression.
After the jolt in education because of COVID over the last two school years, we are striving to make this school year as engaging, celebratory, and academic as possible. In order to for this goal to become a reality, we must do our part to ensure that students and staff remain healthy. Please continue to follow district COVID protocol and do not send a child to school on campus if the child has COVID-19 symptoms as outlined in the CDC guidelines. I ask that you highly encourage your student to wear a mask or face covering whenever possible, and encourage frequent handwashing and hand sanitizing.
Thank you to all of you who have already reached out with questions, concerns, and comments about – well, anything and everything! Please do not ever hesitate to contact me. Nothing is too small. We’re all in this together.
See you on the 14th!
