MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MR. HAEDIN DeLAREC, MECHANIC - TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
Mr. Haedin DeLarec is in his first year with our District as one of the mechanics for our Transportation Department. Mr. DeLarec brings a wealth of knowledge as he previously worked for several auto dealer service departments. All of the mechanics work together to keep our fleet of buses, and other maintenance vehicles, in safe working order.
“I enjoy working with this team in our garage. They are a good group to work with. Our job is different every day. There are always new challenges and we all work together to solve whatever comes up with repairs and maintenance for our vehicles,” said Mr. DeLarec.
Thank you Mr. DeLarec for being part of a great team of mechanics, helping to keep our students and drivers safe on their way to and from school each day! #WeAreStrongsville
MURASKI ELEMENTARY & SURRARRER ELEMENTARY SHOW APPRECIATION FOR OUR STRONGSVILLE SAFETY FORCES
This year, Muraski Elementary and Surrarrer Elementary made Valentine’s Day even more special by recognizing our Strongsville safety personnel. Muraski Elementary students made Valentine’s Day cards for the Strongsville Police and Fire Departments to thank them for all the work they do for the schools and the city. While Surrarrer Elementary kindergarten and first graders earned money at home by completing chores. The students then used the money to purchase stuffed animals that Strongsville police officers can have in their cars and give to kids who “might need something to cheer them up” (according to the students). Great job students at both schools for wanting to give back to their community in these special ways.
